De la Sirenita a Mulan hay varios años de distancia, varios siglos en su origen y muy cercanas en mi corazón. Si puede ser cursi, pero la verdad es que varias películas de Disney dejaron su marca en mi más por la música que por la cinta en sí. Ayer que revisaba mis viejas libretas de dibujos, canciones y poesías (algunas con fecha de 1995!) encontré la letra de una canción de Pocahontas, adapatación una historia interesante, aunque con su buena dosis de "libertad creativa" al estilo Disney.

Just around the riverbend, que en español se llamó Qué será, quiero saber, nos habla de el conflicto entre ser constante, seguir los caminos conocidos u optar por otros y descubrir nuevos senderos donde quizá este la promesa de realizarse otros sueños, nuevos y al mismo tiempo muy añejos.

Mientras está canción dirá lo que mi corazón siente desde hace un tiempo...
